INTRODUCTION
My name is Jared. I'm the
Founder & Principal Counselor of TruSpring Christian Counseling.

I am married to my wife Shelby and we have a
wonderful little boy named Judah!

I'm a counselor with over 18 years of experience in pastoral ministry, leadership development, team coaching, and strategic planning across nonprofit and faith-based sectors. As a Pastor and Coach, I've led organizational strategy and staff coaching initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment and driving growth within the church, parachurch ministries, and global missions. I've served in churches in Indiana, Ohio, and California. I've also served in global missions in Central America, Europe, and Africa.

I am passionate about developing high-performing teams, mentoring leaders, and facilitating change that enhances organizational culture and engagement. I've also led over 250 interactive workshops, sermons, classes, and coaching sessions annually, impacting diverse audiences and increasing staff & volunteer retention.

I am currently a Doctoral Student in Strategic Leadership at Liberty University and I hold a Master's degree in Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary.

With a background in Biblical Counseling & Equpping and a certified Biblical Counselor, I bring a unique perspective to leadership that integrates faith, strategy, and people development.

Beyond my pastoral work, I serve on the Board of Directors for Christians In Action Missions International, providing strategic oversight for global missions. I also have a strong background in social services and have coached individuals and families through challenging transitions. My commitment to leadership, personal growth, and community engagement is evident in every aspect of work.

I am driven by a desire for restoration and reconciliation through biblical counseling and empowering others with the Word of God and resources for healing.

OUR "WHY"

Why I Started TruSpring
TruSpring Christian Counseling was born out of a deep desire to care for the souls behind the roles. After years in ministry and leadership, I witnessed too many individuals and teams silently suffer under the weight of burnout, broken trust, and spiritual exhaustion.

I launched TruSpring to offer Christ-centered counseling that walks with people through emotional strain, relational wounds, and seasons of confusion with truth, grace, and hope.

My mission is to provide soul care that brings clarity to the mind, healing to the heart, and renewal to the spirit so individuals, families, and leaders can thrive in Christ.

For all the things you have walked through, there is no greater hope than the freedom and healing Jesus is offering. Nothing can earn his love and nothing can take it away. It is from that perspective and truth that we start any care or biblical counseling session.
COMMUNITY IS YOUR ADVANTAGE
We provide biblical counseling with an encouragement to be a part of a church community because God designed us to do life beside each other. Healing is a process and it’s not one you have to go through alone.
GOD IS FOR YOU
In fact, he went as far as sending his Son so that you could be rescued and made new. Placing your trust in Jesus means nothing can separate you from him. There’s more to that truth, but for now, know God is for you.

At your first appointment we’ll walk through different ways we can care for and encourage you during this season. Our goal is to walk alongside you as you continue on the path of restoration and are better equipped to encourage others on their journeys as well. To do this, we offer a variety of classes, resources and services.
